Has a digital read -out screen which makes it an efficient fun machine.
Press the DISCRIMINATOR and it will reject the junk metals. You can easily adjust this with a higher setting to reject even more unwanted metals like aluminum foil, or a lower setting to accept more metals so no coins are lost!
Press ALL-METAL on the screen and it will beep on all kinds of metals from iron junk to gold.
Press the NOTCH and you can select certain target range, ignoring the higher and lower conductivity metals.
TARGET IDENTIFICATION When you strike a metal target the digital screen will give you a pretty good idea of what it is before you even dig it!
TARGET DEPTH It will even let you know how deep it is!
There is a VOLUME and SENSITIVITY control and of course, an earphone socket and inbuilt loud speaker.
Its superior point's (over other brands) It ignores very noisy soils and sands that make even expensive detectors beep and mutter when there is no metal target! So it can be used on any goldfields at full sensitivity and at 75% sensitivity on the wet salty beach sand, making no beeps until it passes over a metal target! Try doing both of those things with $1500 detectors and be shocked-they cant do it!

The Gold Snoop Pro will go a bit deeper on the goldfields.
These detector are especially suited for Australian conditions. Australian soils, typically have 10 times more internalization than other countries. That's is why other treasure hunting detectors have trouble detecting them. The soil has chemical metal content and gives off false noises and signals!
The best of other VLF detectors need to have the following controls to cope with our soils:
a) Ground tuning (balance)
b) Sensitivity control which had to be set low, thus losing a lot of detecting depth. Even after tuning the detector, there is still some ground noise remaining which drowns out faint deep nugget signals!
The Snoop series of detectors are revolutionary in that they ignore ground noises even when set at full sensitivity and they do not need a ground balance control! They handle the worst soils at full sensitivity which gives them impressive depth and almost total quietness!
To facilitate such unheard of ability, the overseas factory which improves these detectors especially for Jack Lange, uses a test pit of very highly mineralized Australian soil and and Australian gold nugget which Jack sent them. Jack has also consulted an Australian electrical detector engineer to to further improve performance in our conditions and dialogue with the overseas factory.

I rang you and you gave me really good advice. What a fantastic unit, really good depth for the machine, easy to use and being into beach coins, the detector was awesome for where I hunt. Its time to hit the wet sand, hence the aqua snoop. When I'm ready to spend big dollars on Minelab gear you will be the first bloke who gets my money.
